What are Brothers Helpers? 

Brothers Helpers is a partnership opportunity between local churches and Rapha Ministries.  Brothers Helpers encourages attendees of our partner churches to be intentional about selecting their gently used clothing and household items for donation to Rapha Ministries Thrift Store.  The store will then return a portion of the value of these items in the form of gift certificates to your church to help those directly in your care.

How does Brothers Helpers help my church? 

Brothers Helpers provides a practical way to meet the Biblical mandate of caring for the hurting and homeless and gives you a plan to do so.  We put resources beginning with gift certificates to Rapha Thrift Store, in the hands of every partner church.  We realize you know the needs of your church community better than we do and want to equip you to make a difference.

How does the partnership work?

Individuals from your church donate their gently used items to the Rapha Ministries Thrift Store.  Rapha Ministries Thrift Store employees will ask the name of your church and weigh the donations.  We will keep a log of the donations for your church.

Quarterly, your church will receive gift certificates to the Rapha Ministries Thrift Store that can be given to anyone who comes to your church in need.

They, in turn, bring the certificate to the store and purchase items they need using the certificate to pay for them.

As donors, you will also receive a receipt and will be able to take advantage of the tax deduction.  Your donations are 100% tax-deductible since we are a non-profit 501-c-3 organization.
